“Cops in America” is a book that examines and challenges all sides of the police/community relations controversy. It is a straightforward book that looks at many of the perceptions, misconceptions and distortions fueling the “police versus the people” rivalry and has created what is known as “The Ferguson Effect”. The book identifies some of the underlying factors that exist yet are very seldom acknowledged.
